ESM MOuthpieces

ESM makes fantastic professional clarinet and saxophone mouthpieces in a variety of facings to address every player. They also offer several different material options to offer different feels and sound characteristics depending on the player's needs.

Black Acrylic

The black acrylic generally offers the warmest sound. It's not made from hard rubber so you don't have to worry about having it in your case with your clarinet.

HEAVEN Material

ESM's "HEAVEN" material is not only pretty - its blue acrylic has metal particles embedded to offer a more immediate response and extra brightness for the sound. This option is especially popular for saxophone.

Metal Ring

The metal ring on the tenon is optional for the clarinet and comes standard on the saxophone models. It makes for a more immediate response and connection to the instrument.

Saxophone models

The ESM JAZZ line has high baffles for a more aggressive/jazzy sound and feel. The CLASSIC line does not (the Soprano and Baritone mouthpieces do not have baffles). This is a table of tip openings in mm by model/instrument and size. All Alto and Tenor mouthpieces are available in Black and Heaven. Soprano and Baritone mouthpieces are only available in black.
